Wrapped

Got some more pics from another friend(Thanks Imran).
House is now wrapped. It seems to be roof tiles are not yet completed.
Bricks are delivered now and I think the bricks might have started by now. Can't wait to see how they will look like.

I think brikie is organising bricks

Nice silver foil inside and green outside

Is something wrong with this, there is a gap or not nailed properly.

Hope the bricks will be completed before Christmas slow down period. Base and Frame invoices received and sent to the Bank. Hope will get the FHBG will be processed soon. RBA has increased the rate again, wondering when they will stop rising the rate.

Search for Dream Home

Started to look around display homes to get an idea of what we need.Selected one home from each of the big builders like Porter Davis, Metricon and Henley.Discussed with sales guys about our choice but Alas!! every one told us that our block is meant for two storey homes. We very depressed as we needed just a single storey home, moreover two storey home was not very affordable.Luckily the sales consultant of Henley told we can fit Regatta 288 now Regatta Q1 on our land provided we chose a smaller porch. We were very happy as we really loved that home.
Finally we are building Regatta 288 with many surprises coming ahead, which we were not aware of at that time.

The story about how we got the Land

We always dreamt to own a brand new home but never thought it would happen so soon.
The process started in Sep 2008 when we luckily got this block of land released by VicUrban.
Was very happy and excited but at the same time very tensed as we haven't planned anything about it ,as we got married in Feb 2008 and were still in the honeymoon period. Had no idea what type of house we should build, what type of land we should buy, which suburb we should choose.
All this just happened , probably we were destined to it.
